Functions Of Petroleum Authority
The Directorate of Administration and Finance is another key directorate catering for employees, provision of facilities, administration, budgetary allocations to strengthen and establish a strong administrative framework for the work undertaken by the MOP. It Supervises personnel and the application of workers’ regulations and other relevant legislation as well as to supervise the Administration and Finance officers. The Directorate also prepare and manage the job records of MOP staff and create the appropriate conditions and environment for effective and efficient work. Other key responsibilities are to maintain and rehabilitate MOP premises. It also develops and administer an inventory and oversight mechanism to control MOP assets. The Directorate is mandated to act as a custodian of financial records and submit financial reports to the undersecretary.
