Though the petroleum act was passed by parliament, its implementation remains redundant due to the fact that the policy has not been passed. Policy draft is in place, but since the revitalized agreement requires that the petroleum law be amended and so it means the draft policy be reviewed such that the act can be referred to the policy for amendment.
