Today Friday February 7^th 2025, Eng. Lual Chol Dak, the Director General of the Petroleum Authority conducted an inspection of our new headquarters building, which is being prepared to ensure the well-being of our staff. Eng. Lual emphasis that we are pleased to report that preparations are progressing efficiently and everything is in readiness for the transition.

According to him, we would like to express our appreciation to the National Engineering Company for their significant efforts and the commendable work they have accomplished so far. Our inspection revealed that the building project is moving along smoothly, with all systems functioning properly and we anticipate finalization in the near future. There are a few minor details that remain to be discussed and resolved promptly.

As the leadership of the Petroleum Authority, we are firmly committed to creating a conducive work environment for our staff, recognizing this as a priority. It is essential that our team members operate in a comfortable and conducive environment to deliver quality services to the citizens of the Republic of South Sudan.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to our President for entrusting us with this national responsibility on behalf of the Ministry of Petroleum and the Petroleum Authority during this crucial period. Furthermore, I wish to acknowledge my delegation and all individuals who have accompanied us in this endeavor. Your dedication and efforts are greatly appreciated.

Together, we are confident that we will achieve our objectives, ensuring that our petroleum facilities, products, and industry operate effectively for the benefit of the people of South Sudan.
