On Thursday June 1st 2023, Ministry of Petroleum has received South Sudan Geophysical Aircraft at Juba International Airport. In his statement at Juba International Airport the Chief Execute Officer of South Sudan Geophysical Company Geophysicist Arkangelo Okwang stated at last they have received the South Sudan Geophysical Company’s aircraft. The Aircraft will now undertake mapping of petroleum and mineral projects of the country and it’s really a great achievement by the South Sudan Geophysical Company.
On the hand Eng. Mohamed Lino Benjamin, the Advisor for the Ministry of petroleum stated that they have received the long-awaited aircraft, the aircraft is ready for launching the survey in South Sudan. The first project is survey South African Strategic Fuel Fund including other projects on the plan. Also, the aircraft will be used to train Engineers and pilots on how to conduct geophysical survey so the South Sudanese and Engineers and pilots take over the work in the future.
