Today, we proudly celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of South Sudan—a moment to reflect on our journey as a nation and to renew our commitment to peace, unity, and sustainable development.

The Ministry of Petroleum under the leadership of Dr. Santino Ayuel Longar, the Undersecretary of Petroleum, extends its sincere appreciation to His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit for his steadfast leadership, unwavering commitment to preserving the sovereignty of our nation, and continued support for the development and transformation of South Sudan’s petroleum sector.

As we commemorate this historic milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that our petroleum resources are managed responsibly, transparently, and for the benefit of all South Sudanese.
